Who actually buys skirted trolling lures, and how?
Short answer
Three buyer types, and they buy differently. E-commerce and mass retail take single lures and small replacement skirt packs where the color and skirt length are printed on the pack.
In detail
Specialist tackle and big-game dealers want a continuous size ladder with a named head material and a stated head weight, and they care whether the rigging option is priced separately. Boat and charter supply buys replacement skirts and spare heads in the colors the spread already runs, because a torn skirt forces a mid-season reorder. In that channel durability, not color, closes the sale.
