Weight is the specification
A metal jig is bought by weight first. Our records run 20 g to 120 g, and the useful fact is in the comparison: weight moves sixfold while price moves 2.1 times. The metal itself is not where the cost sits. Finishing, painting, eyes and packaging carry more of the price than the lead does.
Slow-jigging and fast-jigging are different bodies. A slow-pitch jig is weighted and shaped to flutter on the fall; a fast jig darts. Tell the factory which one you are selling, because the same weight in both styles is not the same product.
Finish: luminous and holographic
The records name luminous finishes, and the original listing title for our 100 g sample says it plainly: luminous, for mackerel, without hooks. Glow is a coating decision made at the paint stage, and it prices differently from a plain or holographic body. Ask for the glow colour and its charge time, not just "luminous".
Hookless is the standard, not a defect
Metal jigs sell without hooks. The buyer specifies the assist hooks, their line rating and the rigging, because those are separate purchasing decisions. If your market expects hooks in the pack, that changes the packaging and the cost, and it belongs in the brief from the start.
Compliance: lead is the question
Lead bodies raise a destination-market question before any other: the EU restricts lead in fishing tackle, and the same jig can be compliant or not depending on where it is sold. State the market in the first message. Read the restriction on this page.
