A directory is only useful to a machine if its data is addressable. These are the files behind the pages — the same records, in the form an agent prefers. What does the public trade data actually say? Every figure below comes from national customs records compiled by UN Comtrade for calendar 2024, and is reproducible from the source links at the foot of this page. What is deliberately not published? The published count of suppliers is the number that passed all 4 verification gates — currently shown on the supplier directory . Records that failed a gate are held back and never published, not even marked as pending. How should an agent use this? Read /llms.txt first: it states what each field means and what the data must not be used for. Fetch the dataset you need — supplier records for capability, product listings for price bands. Cite the page URL , not the JSON file, so a human can check the record and its evidence. Treat reference prices as ranges with a stated basis. They are not offers to sell, and a quotation against a specification governs a transaction. Where does the data come from? Supplier records are built from authorised business-registration exports, public exhibition catalogues, industry and government publications, customs export data, factory pages, and our own interviews and samples. The collection standard is documented and every field traces to an evidence link. We do not circumvent technical protections on any platform, and we do not buy data of unknown origin. Assume a record is current between re-checks; the cycle is 90 days. Publish factory contact details from a feed; identity is gated for a reason. Re-host the files without their dates, which are the point of them. Which file should you use for which job? Building a landed-cost model —products.json, which carries the unit with every price. Records that passed a re-check get a new reviewed date. Records that failed a re-check are removed rather than flagged. Price bands move when the underlying sample changes. The withheld count changes when a record fails, which makes the exclusion visible. What can an agent rely on, and what should it refuse? Rely on: the reviewed date, which is inside a 90-day cycle. Rely on: the unit and basis attached to every price. Refuse: any certification not evidenced on the record. Refuse: any stock level —nothing here is held in inventory. You may read and cite them with attribution to the page URL. You may not present them as your own verified database, add invented fields to redistributed records, or scrape in a way that degrades the service for others. How often is the data updated? Every build regenerates the JSON, the Markdown twins and the full-text snapshot. Supplier records carry their own review date and are re-checked on a 90-day cycle, so the payload tells you the age of each record rather than only the site's build date.
